Last updated 11 October 2026. WishCatch is made by Keen Apps.

The short version: WishCatch has no accounts. What you save stays on your device and, if you turn on sync, in your own iCloud. To watch prices for you, a small server learns which product pages to check. We don't sell data, show ads or track you across apps.

What stays on your device

Your saves (links, photos, screenshots, notes), collections, gift planner people and dates, and price history are stored on your iPhone or iPad. Reading text and prices from screenshots and photos happens on the device. Nothing of this is uploaded to us.

iCloud

With iCloud sync (WishCatch Pro), your data is stored in your private iCloud database, which Apple runs and we cannot read. Shared collections are stored in iCloud and shared only with the people you invite.

What the WishCatch server receives

Only when you turn on price alerts for an item, the app sends our server:

The server checks those product pages and keeps their prices. Price history belongs to the product, not to you: it is shared by everyone watching the same page and contains nothing about you. When you stop watching an item or delete it, its watch is removed from the server; a product nobody watches anymore is deleted.

If you use "find this product" for a screenshot, the product name and store read from it are sent to find matching pages; the screenshot itself is not sent.

Purchases

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Store links

Some Buy links go through affiliate programmes (for example Amazon Associates or Awin), which may set cookies in your browser when you open the store. WishCatch may earn a commission; your price stays the same.

Analytics

WishCatch does not use analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs.

Your choices

Turn off an alert to remove its watch from the server. If you delete the app, its watches are removed from the server the next time an alert can't be delivered. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the device; turn off iCloud sync first or delete WishCatch's data in iCloud settings to remove it there. For anything else, write to [email protected].

Children

WishCatch is not directed at children under 13.
